DOCTRINE: Kingdom (God Reigns)
We believe that Jesus' Kingdom is eternal - it will not pass away. So we live for eternity! We live to bring His Kingdom here and now and point people to His eternal Kingdom coming.
DOCTRINE: Stewardship (God Gives)
We believe God has given us a calling to steward the Gospel, as well as our time, energy, and resources, in order to further His kingdom.
DOCTRINE: Worship (God Tranforms)
Worship is a full-life response to who God is and what He has done. With our head, hands, and hearts, we want to offer ourselves as living sacrifices to God in light of His mercy toward us (Romans 12:1-2). This mercy was shown in Jesus going to the cross on our behalf. In our sin and rebellion, we were dead and deserved the wrath of God. But because Jesus lived a perfect life and became an atoning sacrifice for us at the cross, we are now no longer guilty, but have been made alive by His work. We worship in response to this good news!
DOCTRINE: Church (God Sends)
We believe that God's new covenant people is manifest in local churches of which Christ is the only Head. The church is distinguished by her gospel message, her sacred ordinances, her discipline, her great mission, and, above all, by her love for God, and by her members' love for one another and for the world.
DOCTRINE: Resurrection (God Saves)
We believe that Jesus rose again, defeating death, thus giving us a living hope for eternal life.
DOCTRINE: Cross (God Dies)
We believe that Jesus died in our place on the cross. By his sacrifice, he bore in our stead the punishment due us for our sins.
DOCTRINE: Incarnation (God Comes)
We believe that God became man - Jesus came to seek and save that which was lost.
DOCTRINE: Covenant (God Pursues)
We believe that God keeps His promises, even when we don't. He never forsakes His Word.
DOCTRINE: Fall (God Judges)
We believe that Adam, made in the image of God, distorted that image and forfeited his original blessedness – for himself and all his descendants – by falling into sin through Satan's temptation. As a result, all human beings are alienated from God, corrupted in every aspect of their being and condemned to death-apart from God's own gracious intervention.
DOCTRINE: Image (God Loves)
We believe that God created human beings, male and female, in his own image. Men and women, equally made in the image of God, enjoy equal access to God by faith in Christ Jesus and are both called to significant engagement in family, church, and civic life.
DOCTRINE: Creation (God Makes)
“In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.”
Genesis 1:1
DOCTRINE: Revelation (God Speaks)
We believe that God has inspired the words of the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments. These writings alone constitute the Word of God, utterly authoritative, without error in the original writings, complete in its revelation of his will for salvation, sufficient for all that God requires us to believe and do.
DOCTRINE: Trinity (God Is)
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three equally divine Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, who know, love, and glorify one another. This one true and living God is worthy to receive all glory and adoration.
The Grace Of God: His Love Keeps Us
For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
The Grace Of God: Eternally Chosen
For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. And those whom he predestined he also called, and those whom he called he also justified, and those whom he justified he also glorified.
The Grace Of God: Trusting In His Providence
And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.
The Grace Of God: Help For The Weak
Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words. And he who searches hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.
